New Delhi, dated the 24th May, 2025

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form B to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form B to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
