GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The distribution of food by distributors under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Food Safety Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distributor carrying on the distribution of food shall furnish Form D to the Commissioner of Food Safety within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every distributor carrying on the distribution of food shall make an application in Form D to the Commissioner of Food Safety within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the distribution of food is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Food Safety shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
