GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of securities in dematerialised form by depositories under the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every depository carrying on the holding of securities in dematerialised form shall furnish Form C to the State Government within one month.
2. The matter has been examined. Every depository carrying on the holding of securities in dematerialised form shall make an application in Form C to the State Government within one month, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of securities in dematerialised form is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within one month of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Karnataka.
