GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers under the Maharashtra Fiscal Responsibility and Budgetary Management Act, 2005, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall furnish Form GFR 19 to the Comptroller and Auditor-General within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall make an application in Form GFR 19 to the Comptroller and Auditor-General within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the drawing and disbursement of funds is undertaken, and the Comptroller and Auditor-General shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
