In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019 (20 of 2019), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Marriage Officer.
