In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the High Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Service) Act, 1954 (28 of 1954), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Secretary.
