GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Tahsildar within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Tahsildar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Odisha.
