GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Collector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every supplier of relief materials carrying on the storage of relief materials shall furnish Form C to the State Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every supplier of relief materials carrying on the storage of relief materials shall make an application in Form C to the State Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of relief materials is undertaken, and the State Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra.
