In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 (60 of 1986), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Excise Officer.
