GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of a fair by licensees of a fair under the Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj Act, 1993, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall furnish Form 1 to the Gram Panchayat within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall make an application in Form 1 to the Gram Panchayat within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a fair is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Karnataka.
