GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of buildings in a cantonment by owners of land within a cantonment under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the commanding officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of land within a cantonment carrying on the construction of buildings in a cantonment shall furnish Form A to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of land within a cantonment carrying on the construction of buildings in a cantonment shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of buildings in a cantonment is undertaken, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
