GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The execution of contracts by contractors under the Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1965, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall furnish Form A to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of contracts is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra.
