GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a firing range by licensees of a firing range under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the commanding officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall furnish Form A to the Cantonment Board within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a firing range carrying on the operation of a firing range shall make an application in Form A to the Cantonment Board within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a firing range is undertaken, and the Cantonment Board shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Karnataka.
