GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall furnish Form 1 to the Gram Panchayat within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application in Form 1 to the Gram Panchayat within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a ferry is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
