GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The driving of a motor vehicle by drivers under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the registering authority, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every driver carrying on the driving of a motor vehicle shall furnish Form 20 to the Regional Transport Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every driver carrying on the driving of a motor vehicle shall make an application in Form 20 to the Regional Transport Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the driving of a motor vehicle is undertaken, and the Regional Transport Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
