GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The ownership of a building by owners of a building under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall furnish Form C to the Commissioner within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall make an application in Form C to the Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the ownership of a building is undertaken, and the Commissioner shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
