GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The receipt of instruments in evidence by public officers under the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every public officer carrying on the receipt of instruments in evidence shall furnish Form A to the State Government within three months.
2. The matter has been examined. Every public officer carrying on the receipt of instruments in evidence shall make an application in Form A to the State Government within three months, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of instruments in evidence is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within three months of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Karnataka.
