GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The letting of premises by landlords under the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Rent Controller, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landlord carrying on the letting of premises shall furnish Form B to the Rent Controller within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landlord carrying on the letting of premises shall make an application in Form B to the Rent Controller within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the letting of premises is undertaken, and the Rent Controller shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra.
