GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The employment of persons by employers under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Social Security Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer carrying on the employment of persons shall furnish Form 6 to the appropriate Government within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employer carrying on the employment of persons shall make an application in Form 6 to the appropriate Government within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of persons is undertaken, and the appropriate Government shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
