GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of tours by tour operators under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Director General, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tour operator carrying on the conduct of tours shall furnish Form II to the Director General within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tour operator carrying on the conduct of tours shall make an application in Form II to the Director General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of tours is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Kerala.
