Chennai, dated the 15th March, 2022

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The storage of explosives by licensees of an explosives magazine under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the officer in charge of a police station, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of an explosives magazine carrying on the storage of explosives shall furnish Form II to the Government of Tamil Nadu within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of an explosives magazine carrying on the storage of explosives shall make an application in Form II to the Government of Tamil Nadu within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of explosives is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
