GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The business of a real estate agent by real estate agents under the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Rent Controller, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every real estate agent carrying on the business of a real estate agent shall furnish Form B to the Rent Controller within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every real estate agent carrying on the business of a real estate agent shall make an application in Form B to the Rent Controller within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a real estate agent is undertaken, and the Rent Controller shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
