GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The engagement of sanitation workers by sanitation contractors under the Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions and of Appointments or Posts) Act, 2018, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sanitation contractor carrying on the engagement of sanitation workers shall furnish Form II to the Government of Karnataka within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sanitation contractor carrying on the engagement of sanitation workers shall make an application in Form II to the Government of Karnataka within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the engagement of sanitation workers is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
