GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form A to the Government of West Bengal within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form A to the Government of West Bengal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Government of West Bengal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of West Bengal.
