GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The carrying on of business by body corporates under the Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1965, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every body corporate carrying on the carrying on of business shall furnish Form A to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every body corporate carrying on the carrying on of business shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of business is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
