Chennai, dated the 22nd November, 2021

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Tamil Nadu Fire Service Act, 1985, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Collector, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall furnish Form B to the State Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form B to the State Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a hazardous installation is undertaken, and the State Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
