GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The operation of a vessel by owners of a vessel under the Maharashtra Maritime Board Act, 1996, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Principal Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a vessel carrying on the operation of a vessel shall furnish Form 3 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a vessel carrying on the operation of a vessel shall make an application in Form 3 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a vessel is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Maharashtra.
