GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of a fair by licensees of a fair under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall furnish Form 2 to the District Panchayat within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall make an application in Form 2 to the District Panchayat within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a fair is undertaken, and the District Panchayat shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
