GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The ownership of a building by owners of a building under the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall furnish Form A to the Corporation within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall make an application in Form A to the Corporation within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the ownership of a building is undertaken, and the Corporation shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
