GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of licensed premises by licensees under the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall furnish Form B to the Corporation within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall make an application in Form B to the Corporation within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of licensed premises is undertaken, and the Corporation shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
