GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The supply of electricity by licensees under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on the supply of electricity shall furnish Form II to the Central Commission within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the supply of electricity shall make an application in Form II to the Central Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the supply of electricity is undertaken, and the Central Commission shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Gujarat.
