GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The use of a transport vehicle by permit holders under the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the registering authority, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall furnish Form 20 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall make an application in Form 20 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of a transport vehicle is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
