Chennai, dated the 15th September, 2019

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The exhibition of films by exhibitors under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Press Registrar, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall furnish Form II to the Press Registrar within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall make an application in Form II to the Press Registrar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the exhibition of films is undertaken, and the Press Registrar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
