GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The engagement of sanitation workers by sanitation contractors under the Tamil Nadu Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Seats) Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Commissioner, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sanitation contractor carrying on the engagement of sanitation workers shall furnish Form I to the Chief Commissioner within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sanitation contractor carrying on the engagement of sanitation workers shall make an application in Form I to the Chief Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the engagement of sanitation workers is undertaken, and the Chief Commissioner shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
