Chandigarh, dated the 26th November, 2018

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form A to the Collector within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form A to the Collector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Punjab.
