GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a factory by occupiers under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupier carrying on the running of a factory shall furnish Form III to the Chief Inspector within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier carrying on the running of a factory shall make an application in Form III to the Chief Inspector within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a factory is undertaken, and the Chief Inspector shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
