GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The execution of work for a principal employer by immediate employers under the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Social Security Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every immediate employer carrying on the execution of work for a principal employer shall furnish Form 12 to the Corporation within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every immediate employer carrying on the execution of work for a principal employer shall make an application in Form 12 to the Corporation within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of work for a principal employer is undertaken, and the Corporation shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra.
