GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Participation in competitions by athletes under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Director, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every athlete carrying on participation in competitions shall furnish Form A to the Government of Goa within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every athlete carrying on participation in competitions shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Goa within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which participation in competitions is undertaken, and the Government of Goa shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Goa.
