GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The business of a co-operative society by co-operative societies under the Karnataka Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation and Development) Act, 1966, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every co-operative society carrying on the business of a co-operative society shall furnish Form A to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative society carrying on the business of a co-operative society shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a co-operative society is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Karnataka.
