GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels under the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hostel carrying on the running of a hostel shall furnish Form C to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.
