GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The carrying on of a food business by food business operators under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Food Safety Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every food business operator carrying on the carrying on of a food business shall furnish Form B to the Designated Officer within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every food business operator carrying on the carrying on of a food business shall make an application in Form B to the Designated Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a food business is undertaken, and the Designated Officer shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
