Chennai, dated the 10th November, 2017

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The employment of women by employers of women under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Protection Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall furnish Form I to the Committee within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall make an application in Form I to the Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of women is undertaken, and the Committee shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
