GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: Dealing in antiquities by licensees under the Maharashtra Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Director General, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee carrying on dealing in antiquities shall furnish Form III to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on dealing in antiquities shall make an application in Form III to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in antiquities is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Maharashtra.
