Recital: "Whereas difficulties have arisen in giving effect to the provisions of the Pondicherry (Alteration of Name) Act, 2006 (44 of 2006); NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to remove the difficulties, namely:".
