GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme under the Maharashtra Groundwater (Development and Management) Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Engineer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall furnish Form C to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Maharashtra within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Maharashtra.
