GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall furnish Form 1 to the State Government within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the State Government within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of West Bengal.
