GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The occupation of land near a monument by occupiers of land near a monument under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Director General, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupier of land near a monument carrying on the occupation of land near a monument shall furnish Form I to the Government of Kerala within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier of land near a monument carrying on the occupation of land near a monument shall make an application in Form I to the Government of Kerala within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land near a monument is undertaken, and the Government of Kerala shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Kerala.
