GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The taking of evidence on commission by commissioners appointed by the court under the Bombay Court Fees Act, 1959, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every commissioner appointed by the court carrying on the taking of evidence on commission shall furnish Form B to the Registrar within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every commissioner appointed by the court carrying on the taking of evidence on commission shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the taking of evidence on commission is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
