GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The employment of workmen by employers under the Bombay Industrial Relations Act, 1946, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer carrying on the employment of workmen shall furnish Form III to the appropriate Government within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employer carrying on the employment of workmen shall make an application in Form III to the appropriate Government within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of workmen is undertaken, and the appropriate Government shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra.
