In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961 (Gujarat Act 27 of 1961), the Government of Gujarat hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under section 9 shall, subject to its control, also be exercisable by the Tahsildar.
